 Welcome to the middle school Guidance Counselor's Page. We look forward to sharing information that will help you and your child during these formative years. Also, we will be posting information on here and grade level pages about upcoming events that are related to Guidance.
It was an exciting year! I can’t believe we have already completed another year. We had a lot of activities and events this year. If your child was on the Administrator’s or Principal’s Honor Roll, his or her name was announced in our Homeroom Assemblies on Friday and the Chick-Fil-A Coupons were sent home. Congratulations to all Honor Roll Students!
The Stanford Achievement Tests will be given APRIL 7-11, 2014. The Stanford Achievement Test is an important part of our measurement of student progress. We are looking forward to the results of this year’s test and finding out what our students have learned. In preparing for this year’s testing, as you are making dental, orthodontist, and other appointments please try to avoid the morning hours during the days of testing. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about this year’s testing.
We also have the Preparing for Adolesence Meetings for 7th and 8th grade this Spring.
7TH GRADE PARENT MEETING WILL BE OCTOBER 24, 2013 FROM 6:00 TO 7:30 PM IN THE FARLOW-KENNEDY FELLOWSHIP HALL.
8TH GRADE PARENT MEEING WILL BE FEBRUARY 25, 2014 FROM 6:00 TO 7:30 PM IN THE FARLOW-KENNEDY FELLOWSHIP HALL.
One of my goals at this meeting is to supply you with as many resources as possible to help you during the developing Middle School years and to prepare you for the High School years with your student. I look forward to seeing all of you at these meetings.
