Welcome to Wesleyan Christian Academy athletics! We hope that your time on our website is beneficial to your understanding more about our athletic department.
Wesleyan competes at the 3A level of the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA), and is a member of the Piedmont Athletic Conference of Independent School (PACIS) with Greensboro Day School, Forsyth Country Day School, Calvary Baptist Day School and High Point Christian Academy.
We also want you to see that our goals and vision go beyond that of just competition and trophies. The purpose of our athletic department is to offer our student/athletes an opportunity to excel in each of our sports at the highest level possible, while giving them the chance to learn and display Godly character in every situation. Being an athlete at Wesleyan is a privilege and the Lord has blessed us with these opportunities to honor Him with our abilities, talents and actions on and off the field of competition. We have been blessed with many athletic accomplishments:
- 24 team state championships
- 21 team state finalists
- 32 individual/single sport state championships
- 30 individual/single sport state finalists
- 13 different sports and 34 teams
- 75% of our student body participates in at least one sport
We also have a tradition of excellence here at Wesleyan where we continue to focus on building young men and women not only athletically, but academically and spiritually. We hope that you see an athletic program that has gained the respect of the surrounding schools and communities, but more importantly, we hope you see a program that strives to glorify and honor our Lord Jesus Christ in everything we do.
