Dear Families, Friends and Faculty of Wesleyan Christian Academy,
Blessings to you from the Trojan Club at Wesleyan! We are looking forward to a wonderful 2014-2015 year. We'd like to let you know about the Trojan Club and how you can become involved. The Trojan Club supports athletics at WCA by promoting school spirit, raising awareness of Wesleyan and our programs, supporting athletic department activities, and promoting Christian character development.
The 2013-2014 year was a huge success for Wesleyan athletics with Two State Championship in Varsity Basketball and Softball. We had 15 student athletes sign to continue their sports career at the college level. Our athletes and athletic programs grew in strength, sportsmanship and Christian spirit. At the center of it all is the Trojan Club - providing support to our coaching staff, our athletes and our families. We are members of the PACIS conference and the NCISAA on the state level. We look forward to the upcoming year as our student athlete’s use their talents for the glory of the Lord.
Through your generosity last year, we were able to grow and increase our support of the Athletic department at WCA and provided:
- Purchased the “W” letters, updated four banners and added new banner for Softball to gymnasium
- Paid for dinner from Chic-Fil-A for the cheer team heading to competition
- Purchased a new ice machine for school
- Provided assistance in the building of the covered picnic shelter
- Fund several other events on a regular basis: Homecoming Cookout, Alumni Games Cookout, dinners for sports intro nights, FCA activities and events and parties to promote Box Tops, etc.
- Awarded two Trojan Club of the Year Scholarships for one female and one male
Another exciting "first" for us was the introduction of our new payment program where you can pay for anything with debit or credit including concessions and Trojan store merchandise. It gives our families the opportunity to pay for merchandise easily and quickly. We look forward to expanding our online store while continuing to offer families the convenience of quick pay. As for 2014-2015 we are working on plans to make it possible for membership’s payments to be made through online store.
We want to thank our volunteers who continue to be vitally important to our organization. We appreciate the parents, faculty & students who volunteer to help out in the Trojan Club store, concession stands, sports intro nights and award nights. We couldn't do it without you.
Consider becoming a member of one of the most exciting organizations at WCA. The annual Trojan membership of $50 gets you $1.00 admission to all WCA Home Games. You don't have to wait until the winter or spring seasons to join. You can enjoy the benefits of membership now!
We also want to invite you to be a part of the Trojan Club Board. Some of you may be wondering how you can contribute at Wesleyan and joining the Board might just be the perfect place for you. We'd love to have more and more parents serve on the Trojan Club Board. Whether your child is in kindergarten or the 12th grade, there's a place for you! So if you'd like to have fun serving the Lord and your school, join us on the Board. You will get more than you give.
As we move into another school year at Wesleyan Christian Academy, the Trojan Club is busy preparing for opportunities to grow and serve our athletes. We believe the 2014-2015 school years will be the best year ever!

Trojan Club Meetings
The Trojan Club has their Annual Meeting in May of each year in the coach's lounge above the high school gymnasium. New officers are elected and sworn in at this meeting. This is an open meeting for all to attend.
The Trojan Club Board also meets once a month to discuss, plan, and execute the business of the organization.
