Role

The school nurse's role is to promote a healthy and safe environment for children, students and staff at Wesleyan Education Center.

Location/Hours

The school nurse's office is located in in the first room on the right as you enter the elementary hall. It is by the Elementary Hall of Fame. The school nurse is available from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. when the academy is in session.

  • consultation and first-aid care for Childcare children and staff
  • health-related staff training
  • wellness education

Children should be fever-free without medication for 24 hours before returning to childcare.
