FACULTY QUALIFICATIONS
- 100% of our faculty holds dual certifications from the State of North Carolina and the Association of Christian Schools International.
- 100% of our faculty and staff are required to be believers in Jesus Christ.
- 14 years is the average teacher tenure at Wesleyan Christian Academy.
- More than 50% of faculty members have earned advanced degrees.
- More than 67% of teachers' assistants have earned a bachelor's degree.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
- Wesleyan offers an academically rigorous college-preparatory curriculum beginning in kindergarten.
- Our high school curriculum offers 12 advanced placement (AP) and 11 honors courses.
- 141 high school students were enrolled in AP courses during the 2012-13 school year.
- 70% of juniors and seniors were enrolled in AP courses.
- 66% of AP students earned a score of 3 or higher on their AP exam.
- High school students have a 100% graduation rate.
- Seniors are admitted into 90% of all colleges to which they apply.
- The average Wesleyan senior earns 20-30 college credit hours prior to high school graduation
CLASS OF 2013 STUDENT PERFORMANCE
- Over the past five years, our graduating classes have earned $3.5 million to $4.5 million in merit-based college scholarships. This amount does not include financial aid that may be awarded to individual students.
- 91% of our 2013 seniors were accepted to the college of their choice.

TECHNOLOGY
- New STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) initiatives include our LEGO Robotics League and our 6th grade "Astronomy without limits" club.
- All Elementary classrooms (K1-4) include a teacher’s computer, ceiling-mount projector, interactive white board, and a voice projection system.
- The large majority of Middle School (5-8) and High School (9-12) classrooms include a teacher’s computer, either a ceiling-mount projector and/or an interactive white board, and an auditory phonic voice projection system.
- Our PC based Elementary computer lab (K1-4) offers 30 computers with a wide array of academic and creative software that supplements the students’ classroom learning in the areas of reading, math, spelling, and science.
- Our brand-new MAC based Middle School (5-8) and High School (9-12) computer lab is equipped with 30 computers. Middle School students develop foundational skills in MS Office and continue to hone their keyboarding skills. In addition, a Middle School elective course is offered in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
- Students in grades 3-8 are taught keyboarding skills through an interactive software program.
- Our Enrichment Center is home to our third computer lab and serves our EC students. Additional computer banks can be found in our Media Center and in several of the High School classrooms.
- Wesleyan maintains different internet tools available to parents and students that include access to reference materials through our Media Center, student grades, homework assignments, attendance records, faculty communication, and cafeteria menus.
- Our school calendar, athletic calendar, and fine arts calendar are available to parents for viewing and/or download.
