Considering the influence, relationships, and academic preparation that encompass the education experience, selecting a private school for your children is one of the most critical decisions and investment a parent will ever make. For nearly 45 years, Wesleyan Education Center has provided a rigorous Christ-centered education in which God's Word is woven into every facet of life in this ministry. During this rich tradition, alumni from Wesleyan have experienced exceptional academic achievement, athletic success, and accomplishment in the arts.
Wesleyan is blessed to hold a distinctive position among Christian and private schools in the state of North Carolina, as well as the Southeast region. Last year alone, 4.2 million dollars in merit-based scholarship was offered to our graduating senior class, with 90% of them accepted into their college of choice. More than half of the 95 graduating seniors were recognized by the National Honor Society, and 75% were Beta Club members. Through our pursuit of expanding God’s kingdom by offering a high-caliber Christian education, our purpose is to partner with parents as they bring up their children to effectively impact this region and world for the advancement of God’s purposes.
Because of this awesome responsibility and partnership with parents, we intentionally encourage every student to have an in-depth relationship with Jesus Christ. It is a tremendous blessing and privilege to work alongside a faculty that is strongly committed to their calling: teaching students to be good stewards of what God has graciously given them and to live a life in obedience to Him. Guiding children in the process of integrating their faith and learning is best accomplished when the family, church, and school come together in this noble task.
Approximately 1,300 students from childcare through twelfth grade are exposed to an intellectually challenging and nurturing environment, taught from a biblical perspective. As you will see through our website, students are provided with numerous opportunities to exercise their gifts academically, spiritually, socially, and physically.
